Question washing your car without water?

Is there a way to clean your car without washing it with soap and water? My car is constantly dusty and this is the time when pollin is constantly looming. I can't leave my car outside for more than 5 minutes without it getting yellow. Is there some kind of towel or wipe or anything that is safe enough on your paint that you can just get the dirt and pollin off? It drives me nuts washing my car everyother day (i like it clean). My neighbors already think I'm crazy for washing my car so much. There's probably nothing i can do other than washing it. Oh well. Just thought I'd give it a try.

California Car Duster. $10 at Wally World. Parafin soaked cotton yarn holds the dust. Just wipe it lighty over the paint.

Another option is a Quick Detailer. I like Meguiars Final Inspection, which will work on carnuba or sealant finishes.

Yeah, but by the time you wipe and spray with quick detailer, you could have just washed it.

Enjoy your **** retentiveness. Your car loves you for it.

...you wanna wash mine???

What Steve said. Cali car duster works great especially with black cars.

Don't get me started. I live down a dirt road! I washed my 944 every day for almost the first whole month...Then I gave up. It's covered in pollen and dust every day, whether I wash it or not.

Nope, Cal Duster is much faster. QD is not as fast, but does leave a nice shine.

I can't even dry my car in the time it takes to QD it.

Dri Wash N' Guard and California Duster...been using both for years. The Cal Duster doesn't work as well with waxes...it works great with the new pure polymers though.

Wally World huh? I've never even heard of it. Are they available at the local Ricerzone? If I find it I'll give it a try. Thanks for the heads up guys!!

I love my black car when it is clean...(I love it when it's dirty, too but a black car is impossible to keep clean)...my garage is a rented unit in a gravel parking lot and I have to keep the car covered even in the garage because of all the dust....I will wash it at the car wash and bring it back to the garage and wax it....take it for a drive and it's dirty again.....sometimes I will let it go all week so I can just enjoy cleaning it on the weekend...and then start all over again....I think this will be the last bLack car I will ever have.....

The neighbors are just jealous. Wash it twice a day. If they don't like it pee on their lawn.

They really are. I brought home my machine buffer to buff all of our cars and the next day they come over asking to borrow it. They can't have our cars looking better than theirs. Oh well. My P-car looks 10x better than their '64 Impala IMHO.

So how often do you clean your cali duster? How do you clean it?

Mine is looking really dirty.
