Question Help with car alarm and fuel cut-off switch

Hi: My 944 was parked in an underground parking lot for about six weeks. I went to check on it last night. I previously thought the battery was dead because it wouldn't start, but upon trying to boost it, my friends and I realized that the alarm had probably been tripped and that the fuel cut-off switch was now engaged to prevent theft. This is an after-market alarm (Fusion) for which I have no documentation.

How do I go about resetting the alarm so that I can start up my car? Any ideas?

Thanks,
--Jody

Hi Jody,

Two ideas:

1) Send Fusion a message from the Fusion website

2) Tow the car to a alarm installer and have them remove the alarm.

Good Luck

Thanks, Steve! I did a quick google search for Fusion and didn't find their site. Thank you again and again.

How are you enjoying the 530?

The 530 is doing great. I forgot what it's like to have a car that didn't need some work ever month or two. So, I've switched from mechanic mode to detailer mode. It's still fun.

But every now and then, late at night, I think maybe I should get a 996.

Good luck with that alarm. It's probably an electrical disconnect, because a fuel disconnect would require a soleniod.

Is the 944 working well for you? I mean beore the alarm problem.
