Default DME altitude sensor?

I just put new chips in my car and noticed that nothing is plugged into the altitude/temperature plugs in the DME wireing harness. Is this how it is suppose to be or am I missing something here?

On a related note, the Vitesse chip is much nicer then the autothority chip i had in there!

Which plug are you looking at? If they are 4-6" away from the DME, that's the RCP and IA. The altitude sensor is on the side panel, about 2-feet away from the DME.

I'm looking at the closer one. The only things plugged in down there are the DME, the KLR, and a bypassed alarm box. The car runs well as it is, but I'm just currious if something is missing.

As long as you do not run the car at altitudes above 4500 FT you will be OK.

Isn't there something about putting a resistor in place of the altitude sensor that disables the O2 sensor (ROW) ??

Yep, a 1.8K ohm resistor plugged into the connector will select the 2nd set of maps and disable closed loop
