Some interesting looking paint and clean-up in the engine compartment. The red and grey do look pretty good. I'm sure the intentions were good.

However, there is a lot of cobbled crap on that car that would have been better off forgotten. The "custom stress bar", the custom ground wires, the mirrors and the "master switch"/ panel (and most of the interior stand out as obvious offenders). There is plenty on the exterior that would be better off left on the cutting room floor as well.

Overall, it looks like a $2000 car. Not sure how much to believe of the engine mods. The "attention to detail" elsewhere makes this a genuine example of - buyer beware...

That car is about 20 miles from me. I have this morbid curiosity...maybe I should go drive it. LOL!

There's more crap in that ad than there is poop in my cat's litterbox. Most of El Monte is basically a slum...it's pretty dirty and not many people in the area speak English, so I fear for the maintenance of that car. There isn't a shop in that area who would know the first thing about 944's. Cars from ares like that are usually jimmy-rigged to hell and back, I see 'em all the time.

I don't think I'd pay more than 1200 for that car. Who knows what it would cost to put everything back to normal.

...and why the hell is the AFM mounted upside-down?!

Ok so a souped up Japanese car is Rice...
Then a souped up German car must be Bratwurst...or Wurst for short

The engine work sounds interesting. I wonder if he's got the receipts for a reputable shop doing the work? You'll need sunglasses all the time with that interior though....

It's cars like this that cause 911 owners to look down upon 944 owners.
