Replacing my a-arm on my 86 944t I stripped the nut where the rear bearing bolts to the car. Is there an easy way to get to that nut to replace it. I can't even find a way to get to it without cutting metal.

Option Z. Tap it out to a larger size.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts
and/or cam chain and tensioner?

definately try a Timesert first. Overbore the hole, insert the timesert, and you can still use the original bolts.
if you had driven the car with one bolt in the castor mount, eventually it would have warped the frame and you'd have no choice but to start welding.
