Default Gauge Cluster removed...should it look like this?

I just removed the gauge cluster to fix the odomoeter. Noticed there are some holes in the back of the cluster. Should the holes be there. 4 on the left side and 2 on the right side. This is for an 86 951T

Cool

what year is the car, different clusters?

no picture but i would guess they're slots for lite bulbs that may not be needed depending on the options on the car.

Normal..those empty holes are for lights used on ROW cars.
