I'm a bad, bad boy!!!!
I've been bad! Unintentionally!
2 weeks ago I went to Bridgestone and got a quote on new tyres. Portenza G3's (or so I thought).
3 days ago I got a quote on the same tyres from K-mart and it was substantially higher, so, Mr Bridgestone here I come.
New G3's on today. They ask me if I had got a quote. I tell them yes, $130 for front [215x60x15], $140 for back [225x60x15]. They hum and ha and take forever with invoice. I was willing to pay more but they give them to me at that price. Great tyres by the way in the wet.
I just, 2 mins ago, looket at the card with the quote written on it. He quoted me for Portenza G2's! And at a higher price!
It's a bugger being old and having no short term memory!!!! LOL
I feel sssssooooooo guilty.
It was a totally honest and non-intentional mistake. Really. Honest injun!
Think I should go back and tell them?
As, bloody, if!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I will shop there again. They're gullible, it seems.
I feel so bad that I might have to have another beer to drown my sorrows!
