its not just the chain tensioners.. is the studs.. you want case savers or race wear studs (or whatever it is they use) in there man. the 2.7 mag cases are notorious for studs coming out.

g50 is the late 80s gear box. best of them all man.

Looks spectacular Harry, but 127HP is going to net you back of the pack again at the "Fest" this year!!!!

Would that 127 be WHP or Engine HP?

I don't think it really matters because lets face it 912's are not exactly what you call "Overweight" I am sure it will perform great! Actually I was always impressed with the 912 on some of the other drives we have been on!

Like I said...all good fun!!!

I'm actually very anxious to see how well it performs. I'm guessing that the 127hp. is crank HP, which should net him somewhere's in the area of 110hp at the wheels.

What transmission do the 912's use?

The only ones I know is 915 and G50 but other then that I have no idea about the aircooled line..
