Default SoCal wrenching space

Have you guys seen this? Angel City Motor Club Basically a bunch of guys got together and got some commercial real estate space and turned it into wrenching space to DIYers like ourselves. It's pricey, but I'm tempted -- since it's so close to work. I may have to go check it out....

Joseph, something is in the works already for our So. Cal group. We own the property already and won't cost anything for us to wrench on our cars. We also are planning to build a West Coast Wrencher 944 spec race car. Call Julie for details.

Cool deal! I've noticed that the SoCal group tends to be the nocturnal types -- don't you guys sleep?

Frank, Can I go shopping in your garage? There are some things I'll need to source for trade or purchase, such as manual rack, traded for maybe a PS rack of my 87? Probably excellant condition, 120K is that even fair? I;ll also soon have things off the motor I wont need anymore I'll be looking to trade.
Who here wants to help pull the motor!

rings... or more likely cylinder walls... I have to get the compression and leakdown #'s, but there are sure signs. oil smells like feul, popping the dipstick, oil all over the rear of the car, low vacuum numbers despite replacing every last peice of possible vacuum i could, encluding the throttle body. (17 at 800-900 idle on the wideband) Everyonce and a while it will clearly blow out blue smoke, but if i shut it off, and restart, it goes away....

We have something similar up here in San Francisco. I have a garage so i haven't joined but the nice thing is that they allow daily and weekly rentals. So if you're like me and you have space to work but you don't have a lift or a paint booth, you can rent those spaces on a daily or weekly basis.
