Default More Fuel Problems

Today on the way home from work I round a tight corner doing about 45 mph. On the exit I press down the accelarator pedal and the engine stumbles. I let up and it smooths out; press down 1/2 way it stumbles; press down just a little and it runs smooth and slowly accelerates. I stop at a stop sign and the motor will barely idle and runs very rough, so I keep the revs up. The problem persists for another 3 or 4 miles and goes away. WTF?

A similar problem occurred back in March when I stopped at a stop sign on a freeway exit. I pulled into a parking lot and stopped. The car idled very rough for about ten minutes and then cured itself.

Any ideas?

how much fuel in the tank?

lite on fuel, hard turn, the pickup may have not been covered in fuel and sucked some air.

what model car and year?

Could be any number of things, bad AFM, bad TPS, big intake leaks, clogged fuel-lines, bad fuel-pump, bad grounds, bad coil/ignition-wires/plugs... etc.... with more info, we can narrow it down a little more...

I have an 88 NA.

Replacing my TPS took 20 mins and reduced that "hesitation" problem by about 50%.

It also sounds a lot like a clogged injector...this was the OTHER 50% of my problem. RC Engineering said my #3 injector was operating at about 40%! I pick up my freshly balanced injectors tonight! Yay!
