My 951 Andial Engine

I was accessing the UCI library information via 1200 baud (1.2k for you youngsters) modem back in 1985 and as far as I know, internet was used mostly for academia and government a good deal before that. As far as Andial is concerned, one of my former neighbors had a 911 motor built by them. From my understanding, they wore white/light color shop clothing and are so meticulous that even while they are working on the car, their cloth stay clean let alone the floor. I guess one of the standard procedures is to thoroughly clean a car before it even goes inside the shop.

I have an Andial chip in my 964 and they advised my mechanic during the engine rebuild. We did some funky stuff including swapping to used 993 P&C's to save me a few $$. The car has been running very well since that work was done several years ago.

Hopefully this isn't too off-topic, but my 1982 DP 935 has Andial fuel enrichment and boost control in it. In case you've never heard of DP, they worked with Kremer in the late 70's and early 80's to win all those Le Mans in their 935's, and seemed to be the king of the hill even then.
I did some re-wiring of the interrior a few days ago, and took some pics in case you're interested in seeing 1982 "state of the art" stuff. FYI, the silver **** is the pneumatic boost adjustment.
