Default Idle Speed Valve INSTALL

Whats needed to Install the Idle Speed Valve. I know I got take the manifold off but thats about it. How long will it take and can I do myself. Tips, Tricks Info appreciated.

Pretty straight forward. You will need to have new intake gaskets and probably a few injector rebuild kits. Biggest danger is a fuel leak after removing and reinstalling the injectors. Other than that it is really a piece of cake.

plan on replacing vaccum hose and line under the intake that is old and cracking. while your in there kind of stuff. If you have an N/A dont forget to disconnect the little hose under the intake before removing the intake manifold. See clarks-garage write-up for more info.

UPDATE!!! Its done evrything went real smoooth. Thanks god for family member who's a machanic. Thanks to George from 944Ecology for the used ISV. The old one was full of soot..so I guess that sucker should be cleaned every so often.

full of soot? you may want to look into your car and find out why its full of soot.
