Default late throttle body on early car

Awhile back I installed a late throttle body on an early car. Can't find part numbers to compare but I know that the TPS switch on it is the same as an early. Car runs fine excpet for loud fuel pump, im wondering if this may be the source of my problem.

Only difference I can see in the 2 is a different head on the idle adjustment screw. Thanks.

Check the vacuum to the FPS and FPD. A fuel line over pressure problem causes a lot of fuel pump noise.

Throttle body had nothing to do with the fuel pump. Neither does the TPS setting.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts
and/or cam chain and tensioner?

hmmmmm, nathan, are you sure you have those vaccum lines hooked up right from when you changed them?
so, late and early throttle bodies are the same?

well the early throttle body you gave me and the late throttle body on the car has the same part number. The one that came on my car has no part number on it to be seen.
