I've been looking at getting a crank scraper for my 944 and I've found a Fl. based company that a lot of the 2.0L 924 guys have had good results with. Unfortunately they currently don't offer a crank scraper for the 944 since they don't have a block to mock one up on. Does anybody in Fl or the Fl vicinity have one they can loan to they for a few weeks? They told me that whoever loaned them a block could have a free crank scraper of their choosing once they got them made. Their site is http://www.crank-scrapers.com, if you have a spare block that you can loan out for a little while please get in touch with them. I have no affiliation with this company, I just want one of their products.

Hmm where at they located at? Would they need a good engine block? I just have the engine block and that's it. I also have a crank around somewhere. I wouldn't want to ship that stuff so if they are close I maybe able to do that for you.

Well idealy I would think they would need a block with a crank in it and maybe rods. Best thing would be to get in touch with them and they could tell you exactly what they need. They are in the Tampa area but they said they would be willing to drive anywhere in the state of Florida to get one so delivery wouldn't neccessarily be required.

Well I'm near them so if they can use the stuff I have with no problem if it works for them. I sent them an email.

Damn kevin, didn't realize you were active on rennlist. Sounds like you've got everything lined up so maybe we'll have a crank scraper in the next month or two?
