Sunday noon is doable, we can't leave any later without encountering the masses leaving their respective churches. If we get moving by say, 11:30, that would work out great.

Thought about it. Saturday morning is best. We have had good luck with traffic on those times we went early on Saturday. Sunday around noon, if it's nice, there will be alot of traffic on the roads around the state parks as well as various churches letting out. Encountering Ma and Pa Kettle out for a Sunday drive up the mountain will make for an unexciting drive.

Well, I want to do it when we can get the most people together. It turns out that I need to retrieve a wayward young'un from college that weekend as well, and Saturday is the day to do that deed. I can put him off till Sunday, but he'll be pretty steamed to miss out on a drive. There are some areas we can hit that might have a lower traffic situation. I'll poke around some more.

What's the consensus guys?

I hope you guys have fun...maybe I'll join you next time....... The reason I won't come down there is because I still have a little oil leak....We just replaced the oil pan gasket while I was still living in Atlanta a couple of months ago....Not sure if it is the oil pan gasket or the dipstick tube leaking at the base...it seems a little loose...maybe the o-ring is bad or came off....i need to check it.....

All my tools, jack and jack stands are in storage until we move into our house next month....

You mean you're going to let a minor thing like a iddy biddy oil leak stop you??? You should see how much mine leaks (I carry a quart with me at all times)
