THE N/A CHIN SPOILER THREAD....Part 1

Just a quick question, when you shaved your bumper what did you do to plug the holes? And did you compress the shocks to get it to sit in like that?
I LOVE IT!!! Your car gives me inspiration for my 83 na!

We hope to have 5 chin spoilers done within say the next 6 weeks..Its just starting to warm up around here enough to start working wth the resins...Thats what we have been waiting for, as heating my garage became a bit to expensive to heat 24-7 for resins to cure properly.....

THe front bumper mod is done by drilling the shocks and compressing them as far as they go, and the front holes are a result of drilling out a couple of the rivets used to hold the bumper bracket to the bumper, and the nubbys have to be ground down...I used 40/50 resin to fill the holes...Its more or less a panel bond for unibody cars....

OH MY GOD! I can't believe I missed this thread!!!
DAmian, that looks AMAZING!!!
I love it! Finally us NA guys have something to go on the front of our cars!
I've been following your progress for a long time now...I'm very pleased with the results!
I'm extremely interested in the chin spoiler, I'm graduating from school in a month, so this summer I'm definitely in for one!!!
I'll keep an eye out for the cold air intake mod too, I like it...

"PS...is your pass. side clear turn signal falling out?"
Actually thats the quality of the product from Paragon...One side fits very nice and flush, one side sticks out a bit...You could see the difference when holding the 2 in your hand...I just dealt with it I guess...

Chin spoiler looks nice. I have a picture of your car in my shop... Kind of inspiration for the front bumper mod it will recieve this spring. Can you give more detailed pics of the spoiler? Close ups?
