Default turbo aux.water pump

i just replaced the small electric water pump that cools
the turbocharger.
that pump was dripping coolant and very corroded but thankfully not
enough or too long to cause anything to melt.

i always thought my turbo ran fairly good, but
after i replaced the pump i was surprised by the way the engine
ran much smoother and the turbo reacted faster and holds boost longer.

would replacing this expensive little pump make that much differance,
or did i accidently fix something else without realizing it?
i was replacing and fixing about a dozen different things over
the last month that it was on stands.
ever heard of anything making that big of a improvement?

Sounds like you had some loose clamps that got tightened on the R&R.

the car was on stands for weeks, and i did replace couple vacuum lines
and a badly cracked manifold hose.
last replace was turbo water pump,so kinda locked on that.
