Default Have you ever noticed.... (slightly OT)

I am in the middle of a computer installation project for the company I work for so I am schlepping about in a mini van stuffed with parts......

And I am seeing 944's nearly EVERY DAY.

Since I have bought my 944 in November I have seen the following while driving my 944-

A GORGEOUS red 924 on Warner in Tempe....
A brown 944 on the 60 W Gilbert Road on ramp..
A horribly beat up Black (now gray) 944 blowing smoke on I-10
Silver S2 Cabrio on the 51
Black #18 944 in downtown PHX

I was starting to feel lonely...

Now that I am in what my wife calls the "birth control mobile" (BCM) I think I have seen a 944 every day......

Is this a scientific phenonmenon?

Eyes opened! Don't you just wish you could drive your 944 around for work?

I have notied that too. My friend lives just south of chandler east of rural. The street is terrace and as you drive down it you see an 83 trackk 944, a red 84 daily driver, and either a red s2 or turbo. also next to the track car is a black 930 slantnose with a license plate cover that says: "I wasn't speeding, i was qualifying" i notice a lot more 911 and 930's than 944. In that neighborhood though, tere are at least 2 other 944's. it's just that all of those houses are old and paid off so they can afford the monthly parts payment.

SoCal-

I did drive it for work, but I got tired of the parts sliding around in the hatch(.... : p ). Seriously, my 944 is my daily driver and there was no way I could fit 3 computer systems in the back. I did try though!

SilverBean-

I am over in Gilbert and a guy around the corner has a friend with an early burgandy 944 that I used to see every weekend, but since I bought mine, I have not seen it.....

I just thought it was weird that when I am in the 944 I hardly see another, but when I am in the BCV I see them everywhere......

My wife teases me because when I am in our Impala and see a Porsche, I wave. She says "like that person knows you" and I tell her it could be SilverBean, MayaMan, M758, jamiejim or AZS2.......

She don't know.....grin....

Once your brain starts looking for porsches (subconciously(sp?)), you will notice a lot more of them than you did before.
