Any ideas about fabrication for a nose panel?

Peckster: I can't agree more... trying to locate the bastard now... but there are no cameras in the garage, and he or she didn't leave a note.

This may be a good time to ask: has anyone changed over to a fabricated S2 vented nose panel?

This is why I NEVER EVER EVER back in to park, and always park facing the wall instead, no matter how inconvenient.

People in trucks and SUVs who don't see our cars while backing out will routinely do this kind of damage. You're lucky the S2 doesn't have an intercooler underneath that nosepanel.

Really sorry to see this. Hope you work it out.

Find a body shop in your area that works on classic cars (panel beating). They should get that nose panel straightened out in no time. Good solid sheetmetal like that is appreciated by the real pros.

people suck, the first day out this year and I got backed into at work in the 954. It scuffed, no dent. It's satin, no waxing, no buffing. Guess I'll just have a reason to repaint it, either satin or gloss, staying black tho. maybe next winter

People do suck -- within the past year, my 944 got nose damage twice and the turbo got both sides backed into (4 incidents total, all while parked). I only caught the culprit one of the incidents. I'm sure if I wasn't sitting in the car at the time, she would have just driven off.

Good luck with your repairs!
