Hi all, can anYone help. Will 2003 17" Boxster wheels fit on my 944. I think the Boxster offset is 48mm, wondering if I'll need to any mods. Thanks

 

yea they'll fit...they'll stick out 5 mm more than your current wheels

Sleep well, but be forewarned that you may need a 1/4" spacer in the front or have to get rid of the grease cap because the hub sometimes doesnt fit.

Also, on my red 89 S2 I put boxster rims on the car and the left rear rubbed with the 255 rubber. I was told 245s would not rub, or that I would have to roll lip of the quarter panel. I tried rolling it, but didnt have luck. I bought a cheapo grinder taped the fender, and ground the lip, then put some rustoleum POR rust protection and some tomato red rustoleum on the remainder of the lip. I don't think it rubbed any more, not sure though and sorry I didnt wait a week to do the job since the car was stolen a few days after. It would have been cool if the fender cut the tire at a high speed an the thief lost control and the car exploded, and the thief... ahh but i digress.

If you need two spacers contact me. I got a set of 4 for my brother's 89 NA with Bpoxster S twists from a board member and only need 2.

 

With a 951S, the rear fenders shouldn't be an issue. Suckers were rolled from the factory. Sweet!
