I just realised I have a picture of this thing. I first saw it on Ebay.
This is a really good price for a 944 in Australia. And its only 1500km away from where I live!!! LOL
Heres the link:

Yes. RHD. Will be my mid-life-crisis car. LOL
Travel 20km each way to work and back and occasional trips to Port Douglas and up the mountain!

Absolutely you should get excited about this! I know this may sound like overstatement, but prepare for your life to be changed! Nah, it's not a mid-life crisis; I think it is a lifelong passion. I got my first one at 23, and at 29 (Sunday), I feel that I am just getting started. I am definitely hooked for life, and I think that you will soon concur that there truly is NO SUBSTITUTE! Best of luck with your new Porsche! (There are no old Porsches, as they are timeless. There are just new owners. )

HAHAHA Its true! (i guess reality is always the best comedy!)

Ive gone, lifted the cover just one enough of my car to open the door, get in, and shut it again. And sit. 30 minutes..., an hour...

Its better when you can drive, but when there is snow everywhere and things suck, its as close as you can get to being somewhere else! Try it!

HAHA and besides, every time i go on rennlist drives i come back after 6 hours with a smile from ear to ear, dozens of hilarious stories, a couple new friends, and im ALWAYS sunburnt. Sounds like a vacation to me!

Talking

Congrats Brian
That car look's like she's been loved! You will find about a billion years of Porsche experience here on Rennlist. Take lots of pics on the drive home and start a thread on the improvements "needed" for the garage. Next, update your Rennlist membership.
Make sure maintenance is up to speed, then wish you had bought a Turbo. Oooops, did I say that out loud?

But why does he say Cans instead of Carnes, since he's from Cairns. Of course I should talk since I'm in Brizbin (Brisbane). Makes a bloke wonder....

Congrats Beeg!

I've had my 944 for less than a week, and I'm loving every second of it. Such a blast to drive! Welcome to Rennlist!

Cool

Far be it for me to point out the inadequacies of the English language as spoken on the North American continent! And it is pronounced Cans because that is what we drink most of the time! Unless we are guzzling stubbies! But stubbies is a silly name for a city!!!! LOL
