Question Where to buy replacement vaccum "X"

As you can see in the pic, one of my vaccum fittings is ripped. Where can I get a replacement? Yea, I know the rest of the rubber is not far behind and our cars are due for replacements, but I'd like to stay stock for a little longer, plus I like the hard vaccum lines vs rubber hoses running all over the place.

Any Leads?

TIA

Have you tried Pepboys or the like? I was there a few days ago looking for fittings to hook up my vacuum gauge. They had a fairly large selection of adapters, T's and i remember atleast one or two X fittings.

Dan,I know that you like the hard lines but you should look at the manifolds that Laust Pedersen is making. For $27 you can eliminate a bunch of future problems..Do a search on "manifolds" and find his posting.Good luck,FRED

The last one I replaced on my '83 I bought from an independent Mercedes mechanic. I recognized these as being the same "T's" used on the 1982-85 Mercedes 300D Turbo series. If you can't find them in your area, let me know and I'll pick a few up for you.

Just bought a couple from the dealer. They're quite cheap.

The part number for these vacuum Xs or Y-Piece as PET calls them is: 928.573.727.03

Thanks, guys.. Paragon is getting me a couple.. Those guys are soooo awesome! I don't know why I didn't just go there first. While I had them on the line I checked and it looks like they plan to be sponsoring the 944fest again!! Wooo HOO!! More door prizes!!

UPDATE: The parts from Paragon came, the same part number shown above. As the PET calls them Y hoses is more correct. The one I needed is an X hose and the parts I got are wrong. Oh well, I've got one of those fancy vaccum manifolds on the way so I won't be needing these pieces anymore. I'll probably chop them up for adapters to the male manifold and male lines I have.

Dan, I need a couple "Y" Connectors. If they look like that only 1 less fitting.... I guess in the shape of a "Y"...

How much?

S_Type, I got two of the three prongers from paragon, (http://www.paragon-products.com/) call them and give them the part number above, they were 9$ a piece. I'm going to keep these and cut them up to make my new manifold fit the old stiff vaccum lines.
