You're correct - in posting my comments I lost sight of which car these were going on. I will still stand by my comments in regards to NA verses 951 wheel changes. I will also state that I do feel a difference in how my 951 reacts at slower speeds with the larger 993 cups installed. Steering input and lane changes were quicker with the stock phones than with the larger Cups. There is no difference that I can feel at speeds about 30mph, however I will say that I can feel every little bump in the road with the wider tires. I'd still do it over again though. The updated looks are worth the slight annoyances at low speed. And mine are set up to go back to the phones if I'm at a track event - autocross or DE.

No experience with a N/A here so I'll defer to you and sure I feel every bump now. Hopefully I'll feel 'em even more with the hacksaws being put on the car now.

So, for you new guys out there...

To install post-'86 (late-offset 52.3mm) wheels on an early offset car (23.3mm) you will need the following...

Front
#901.331.671.01 (10) ten 72mm wheel bolts (stock is 45mm) about $5 each new.
#477.501.701 (2) two 21mm wheel spacer (these are the stock rear spacers on the 83 thru 85 944 na) about $25 each used.

Rear
#901.331.671.01 (10) ten 72mm wheel bolts (stock is 45mm) about $5 each new.
#930.331.611.04 (2) two 28mm wheel spacer (from rear of 911-turbo) about $50 each used.

If you want to use your stock wheels again, you can purchase Open Ended Steel Lug Nuts from Paragon for about $20 total. Just pull the spacer, put on the old wheels, and use the open ended lug nuts. BTW, most DE events require the steel lug nuts as well.

Your price may vary on the spacers. I got mine from Oklahoma Foreign.

This setup will work for normal Twists as well as C2's and 993 Cups (like mine). If you have an unusually WIDE wheel, you may wish to modify the spacer size. For this particular thread, the spacers listed will do the job nicely.
Thank you for this Post Icat
