Default Chip options for '88 N/A ???

Hey gang,

I'm just wondering who is currently making N/A chips that don't cost $600. lol. I was hoping for a Wilk but since he's MIA, I'm not sure who else offers a well-engineered, affordable chip for my '88 N/A.

Do I have any other options? Let me know if you have the skinny on chips. Thanks!

I would also be interested in this info. I have been thinking about putting chip in my '88 as well but i have herd mixed things about chipping the N/A. Some say it does not pay as gains of 14 hp are very optamistic and unrealistic.

But I would still like to hear what u guys have to say about chips for my car, if i can find one that is really worth it and proven i will go for it.

I have been looking to buy one for the 88 that I'm currently putting back together. You can buy them all day long for cars up to 87. The 88 with the higher compression, already has a more advanced ingition curve than the 85.5-87, but surely someone makes one to bump it even more without paying a ton. Eurowebparts had one on e-bay last week they said would work on the 88. But it also it would work on all of them 85.5-88.

I'll talk to Danno and see what he says. Maybe he'd be willing to whip something up for us. Look for an update post in a couple weeks!

I only paid $250 for my Autothority chip, but that's because I knew someone who worked there. Sorry I can't help beyond that...
