yes, drill all they way through the underside of the car. use new longer/stronger bolts and larger washers on the inside and outside of the car. make sure you use some rubberized undercoating on the underside of the car when done. easy job.

Mine had cracked on the floorpan (driver's seat, left front mount). I got in there and welded it up again.

i'm going to have to take the seat all the way out this coming weekend and find out. thanks for the info. we'll see...
