Okay, thanks for the inside on GAD. The PO payed $3400 for a used 86 951 engine from them last summer, supposedly had 60,000 miles on it. I just got the news from the machine shop today. It's only had 10,000 miles put on it since it was installed, run on Mobil 1 the whole way. Let's just say this is one _poor_ condition 60,000 mile engine if you catch my drift...

Beware of GAD!
A friend of mine tells me that he was at a local auto auction here in GA, trying to buy 2 911s.
The 1st was a '87 911 Cab with D90 wheels and 227k miles on it.
The 2nd was a '95 993 Coupe with 115k miles on it.
Both cars were mileage verified to be correct with CarFax and AutoCheck.
GAD bought both cars that day, then a few days later advertised them on eBay with 1/2 of the actual mileages.
They claimed 117k miles for the '87 911, and 67k miles for the '95 993.
I'm told by many that these are typical practices at GAD (formerly PAP).

why not have a sticky in the for sale forum that LINKS to threads regarding sellers. These threads could be both negative and positive.
this way it's not a cluttered mess, just a directory of links.

I have only had an issue one time.
Houston European. Horribly inaccurate description of item and very dishonest to deal with overall.
I had bought a ton of stuff from Mikri184 and never had trouble, then he apparently started kind of going astray so I stopped bidding on his items. Too bad as he always had cool stuff that I need or want.

Air Cooled Classics in Tennessee. I sent that punk scab a beautiful Fuch wheel and he couldn't even send me the lousy $150 I charged him. The wheel was worth much more.
He's a little bitch who's wife is ****ing his mechanic. I'd love to pour hs *** into my next foundation.

Sorry for beating around the bush.
He says he's an engineer too! One of those engneers down at the sewer treatment plant - **** engineer. Another Porsche tooner who's an engineer - with a degree from Memphis community.
