Default 944 Hatch shocks on 924

Hey
I have a '78 924 and ofcorse the hatch shocks are bad and new ones are pretty pricy. I did notice that 944 hatch shocks are cheeper. My question is has anyone tried putting 944 hatch shocks on a 924 and does it work.

I just bought universal shocks at my local spares shop for a tenth of the price, they are a little shorter than the originals but work just fine.

Take one off, and take it in to the auto parts store to compare the compressed and extended lengths, as well as the fittings on the end. Hopefully you will find a good match!

Cheers,
