Don't forget to protect them!!!
The last thing you need is to see a pair of those shattered by a rock.

The best paint to use VHT paint. I got mine from summit. I think it was like 15 bucks or so. The light still shines through really bright, it also depends on how dark you wanna go.

When you consider the effort it takes to cast in small quantities, the price is not unreasonable.

However, clear side markers for the boxster and 996 are available for $50 bucks a pair from the dealer. That includes the whole assembly, and I said pair! No sawing off the old lens and gluing on the new.

That's what happens when you have the proper machinery and everything set up for big runs. Which will never happen on our cars.

Default This guy claims to be able to sell them for $100 for the set

I have no connection to this guy, nor do I know him...

"Hi, I was browsing ebay and noticed the outrageous prices you guys have to pay for clear lenses for your porsches. We specialize in making clear lenses of all kinds for any type of vehicule. all we need is a stock lens to start with. i found some 944 and 968 side markers for 225$ on ebay, for a set of 4. i could easily make those for you guys at 100$ for the 4 lens. you guys get back to me if you are interested. www.klearz.com info@klearz.com"

I'm gonna email this guy and see about sending my 951 lenses in for him to clone... we'll see how far it goes.

Sorry - see now that others have also contacted him, but nobody has filled out his online interest form. I'm going to start a new thread about this specifically to try to get more people to sign up on the interest page: http://www.klearz.com/request/index.php
