Default A positive vendor thread...

In light of some of the bad karma/bad "vibes" that seem to have permeated the list here lately, I thought it would be appropriate to start a "Good Vendor" thread. Yesterday, I spent a decent amount of money with Paragon, and I can honestly say I was wish I spent more. Jason, your company and your employees ROCK!

Other guys that I have dealt with recently and had GREAT service from, Travis ROCKS!, from Rennbay, and John at Vitesse. I would be remiss in not throwing out a kudo or two for my friend Ian Riley at Europarts and a big thank you to a close friend of mine, Ben Wornall at Imagine Auto.

I hope that the 944 community at Rennlist can take a couple of steps back, take a deep breath or two and then find a more positive way to communicate. All the fighting that has taken place lately does NOT represent the best that Rennlist has to offer. Please think twice and post once. If you can't be constructive, don't post, okay?

Regards,

Scott,

Thanks for the kind words.

I want to throw a "shout out" to Charles at 81 motorsports. www.eightyonemotorsports.com . A new company down here in FL but what great people. The site is coming together but they have access to just about anything you need OEM if its not listed. They even did an amazing group buy on the turbo fender decals a while back.

OK, I will pipe in and mention Motor Werks Racing in Cumming, GA 770 886 0686. They are just wonderful people and took extraordinary care of my car while they did a surgeon like installation of my new bigger turbo. Call them if you are an ATL local and have a turbo Porsche or a racing Porsche. They are masters at what they do, and I shi*t you not.

Oh yeah, and I have to mention how nice and knowledgable John @ Vitesse is. He is very cool, I cannot wait to get his chips!

My mechanic, Chris Moore from Autobahn Extremeist in Rocky River, OH said he was really impressed with Rennbay's ball joint kits and was very glad someone came up with a reasonable solution to that problem! I told him to come to the 944fest and meet the man himself!!

Paragon gets all of my business. They have great problems, and even better customer service.

Larry Parker made some awesome A/C delete brackets, and I picked up one of those when he first made them. Great looking piece, and cheaper than the other A/C delete options.

Thumbs up to Jeff Clark at Sunset Porsche + Audi, who is hooking me up with a bunch of Euro 951 parts at cost (+15%, you've seen the ads).

Can't forget John @ Vitesse, great product + great service =

944 Online has been very good to me. Great selection and price.
Pelican Products has done me right.
George has also been good...website is a little outdated, but he does good business via email.
And let's not forget our good buddy Travis over at Rennbay.

Best of all are the fellow members of Rennlist for tech support and used parts. It's been an invaluable experience...I'd highly recommend joining the 'list if you haven't already!
