On cars with ABS, when performing a system flush, should a pressure bleeder be used?
My brakes feel fine, except for a little(!!!) ABS unit niggle. Maybe it's just that the ABS hasn't kicked in for 5 years!? Time for some fun in the snow.....

I don't know what "should" or "shouldn't" be done, but I can tell you that I used one on my car (yes, it does have ABS) and I've had no problems afterwards. That was almost a year ago too. Once the weather gets nice I'll be doing it again.

Thanks Kevin. I would have used one myself, but the little blighter's been sitting in the garage for 3 years, and has developed some nice leaks. I just used my Mum's right foot instead! Now i'm trying to pinpoint where my ABS problems may lie, and this answer may save me ripping the ABS unit out.
