Don't worry about the third, it's a diagnostic sensor, that's all I've ever heard on that. Just my theory, I'm wondering if they used it to initially program the car for the AFM and other variables or if all chips were burned unrelated to the cars. I never have heard any such thing tho. If it will pull up solid enough to hold the two used sensors, you should be just fine. Good Luck

Well maybe that is the answer that the bracket was replaced with a turbo one and they took off the extra ear. I could not tell you if the flywheel is oringinal so maybe someone did a complete swap. I will be calling the dealer for the keeper for the sensor so it will pivot right.
