Default I think I found out possible mileage of my tranny!

Well, I know it's not necessarily 100 percent or anything.. but I was searching around looking at S2 engine's just for giggles, and I found one at this place in Mass, where I bought my transmission.

For those of you who don't know I got my transmission from an auto salvager that had it listed under 944 NA and thought ti was, and so did I until I found out what the part number was and got it for a steal. it was an LSD S2 tranny btw.

Well the engine they have is a 1990 S2 engine wiht 109k on it supposedly, so I'm thinking that since this place didn't have any other 944's at the tiem and are just a regular auto salvage, that this transmission may very well be from that car!

Noone probably cares, but I just thought it was a cool find. and there being "only" 109k on it, makes the deal even sweeter.

Devon, I care man!
I wrote to Adam H about a possible southern NE (is that sensible?) states GTG this spring. Our place in MA is done and ready to host.
What do you think? When will you be through with the motor ("1985.5 944 NA - Done driving for the winter - Rebuilding the engine ")?

Hey jake.. unfortunately, the car is sitting in the driveway still. Still haven't sourced all the parts eitehr, but the range rover isnt even inspected yet. But the range rover should be rolling of the assembly line today or next weekend, so then I'll start on my car. I'd come up in the rover though to hang out if you have a GTG. Just let me know. Did adam get his 951 yet? I heard he found one.
