Just giving my engine bay a clean and found a couple of disconnected wires. I was hoping someone could tell me if they should be connected to something or what they are for.
Both wires come out of the main wiring harness (the one that runs along the chasis rail to the headlights, fans etc) just inside the firewall on the LH side of the car.
One looks like it should be connected to something and has a small rubber boot on the end. The other wire is just a couple of brown wires looped back inside the sheathing and are probably terminated for a reason.
Can anyone help here? Note if the engine bay looks a bit different its because the car is RHD.

On my car I have 2 wires that hook up on a sensor in the vaccum lines just to the right of the picture, do you have a sensor there?

The second one with the two brown loops is there on my car too. I was thinking factory alarm hood sensor maybe...
