Default Codes Plug on DME?

anyone know what info can be retrieved from the [ codes plug ] on the dme. I believe its a 2 wire with female connector plug at the end of the dme harness where the dme is connected to by its 35 pin connector.

just curioius about it.

Those "code plugs" are not for pulling fault codes. The plugs are used to "re-program" the DME for engines that are sold in places like Japan.
