Price Check Aisle 3
What's a reasonable price to pay for a '89 944 Turbo S, 75,000 miles, race suspension, and engines mods by Kelly Moss, good paint and interior....told it dynos at 350 HP @ 1 bar. And, is this a car I could reliably drive daily and track as well.? Thanks.

Some may say I'm crazy, but that sounds like 17.5 to 19.5 worth of machinery. Plus, you get a free invite to 944Fest 05!
Is it 350 at the crank or at the wheels? I don't think you can get 350 at the wheels with 1 bar in a 2.5L, if it is a 3L add 5 gs.

Kelly Moss is one of the most reputable tuners in the 944 biz. What specifc engine and suspension modifications have been made? Without knowing this stuff a price check is no more than a guess. I would think a well sorted Kelly Moss car would bring $20K, but again it all depends on whats been done to it, could be less $, could be much much more. Get a PPI to determine how reliable its going to be. Without one, a modified car is a risky shot in the dark.

It sounds like a monster with a lot of high dollar goodies. I wouldn't be surprised if they are asking 25 to 30 for that bad boy. Very few 951s trade over 20K, and they have either extreme low mileage or extreme proffesional mods, like this one. What you've got there is a special project. No value guide is going to help you on that one. He'll show you 50K in reciepts, will he take 25K for it? Maybe.
By the sounds of the suspension mods, she may not be an ideal daily driver. Then again, that is what Mr. Seal Grey is for, No?
