Are they "theft-proof"?

No more "unstealable" than a Lindsey center gauge plate.

Nothing is theft-proof. With enough motivation you can yank someone's motor in their driveway while they sleep.

What is the difference between the porsche double unpainted black, and double oem black?... Just the finish on them, one matches the black interior, the other can be painted to match any color interior?

I think I'd take the oem black one.

I'm in on one of them.
Just need 1 more now.

OK I updated the posts on 924.org to reflect this information. Go ahead and put me down for 2 OEM Black for myself. When I have confirmation from the others I will let you know, but we should be over ten by then anyway.

Hey guys, you want the OEM black. Its a perfect match to the rest of the interior. Also, the gauge pod looks a bit different than the one in the picture posted. I'm going to try to get a picture of mine to throw up here so you can see exactly what you are getting. I'd be in but I already have one for my 951 and I don't think I want one in the NA. You are saving about $10 through this group buy.

Really? On the gaugepods.com website you can buy the OEM black ones for around $58 plus shipping. Where were you looking?
