Question Early 924 Trubo, Did it have "sport supension" package option?

Question is, Does the early 924 turbo have a sport supension package? Koni shocks and stuts, higher rate springs and torsion bars? Reason I ask is I have found one in a junk yard, already got the rear yellow's off it and am going to go back and get the fronts. The strut housings had a yellow tape arround them, I guess that meens that they have Koni shocks in them, am I correct in this thinking? I guess what I really want to know are the springs and torsion bars also different than stock, It had factory sway bars front and rear too.
Just curious about this one.
Thanks,
Bill

Yep, M471 suspension package. I do not believe the TB's are different, but sways and springs are, Konis are non adjustable.

Koni shocks up front and Bilstein in the rear, as opposed to the 924n/a's Boge shocks
anti roll bars increased to 23mm front and 14mm rear.

correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks guys. Already nabbed the rear shocks, Koni yellow's adjustable. Going to go back and get the fronts and springs too if anyone knows what the rates are.

Bill , if the engine is there , get the turbo and the exhaust manifold and pipes as they are getting hard to come by. Particuarly the J pipe which is a known problem. Check for the Knotch spoiler on the rear deck . It is different then a 944 as is has a knotck over where the key goes , not straight like the 44. If the knotch spoiler is there , it is a give away that it is the sport version of the 24 t.
