I get around 30mpg in my S2 in normal around town driving and almost 33 on the highway. During spirited driving like the taj events I averaged around 18mpg. The 924S gets much much worse gas mileage (I dont know why) but its from a non calculated standpoint maybe 18-20mpg during my normal driving. I will calcuate it when I do a full tank fillup next week.

I managed 30.4mpg from Atlanta to New Jersey and 31.2 from New Jersey to Atlanta last year.

I get better milage with a hot rodded rebuilt motor than I did when it was stock. (guess that means I have it tuned pretty good!)

I've been averaging 26mpg, and that's with about 50/50 highway/city as well as quite a bit of spirited driving every day. I have a 3bar fpr, guru chips, everything else stock. I'm running at stock boost though, with an ebc. The best I did was something like 420 miles on ~17 gallons. The factory 951 manual states the gas tank holds 21.1 gallons, although I'm not sure if the n/a's are different. I calculated it out and, technically, using ~99% of the gas tank's capacity would be good for something like 540 miles. I'd never run it that low though.

I know I'm the winner, we had this contest once before
1068km's, on 58.3L in old blackie (RIP)
FYI, that's 660ish miles on about 15 gallons, so for you americans, about 40mpg. In Canadian, that's better than 6L/100km's, or to put that in perspective, better mileage than the window stickers advertise on the new TDI PD's.
I didn't over-inflate tires or anything, but I would rather not divulge my secret, then others will soon be imitating, and it may be dangerous.

Normally, I would get 8L/100km's on the highway, and 10.5L/100km's city.

In my 951, on the return trip from NYC, with a few big vacuum leaks, and autothority chips (I believe) I got 28.2mpg. That was 110% highway driving. Have no idea what the city mileage is yet, it's in pieces.

Hahaha, very close, I was drafting on a motorhome (my G/F's parents). I followed about 5 feet behind it the whole trip.

I hit 660 miles on a couple of tanks on my drive from Florida to New Mexico. Still had a few gallons, to spare, but I my nerves kept getting to me. It worked out to be like 32 or 33 mpg. It was awsome, with the steady driving, the computer truely optimized AF ratio and the inside of the exhaut tip was tan, not black.

the only time I ever recorded I got 35 mph over a 100 mile stretch!!!!!!!!! (all highway) long, FLAT, Montana highway at a pretty much constant 75 mph. Up to 90+ while passing semis, but IIRC I only had to pass twice.

I never get out of the low 20s with this car. Newer fuel pump, new injectors, new FPR and damper, new cap, rotor, plugs and wires, stock chip and airbox. Mixed driving but more than half is highway.

I get mid 30s in the '96 Civic EX (automatic) and Karen gets low to mid 40s in the '04 TDI Golf (automatic)

My personal best was 423 out of 1 tank when the first time the dummy lite for the gas turns on. Thats with normal not really speeding kinda driving half city half highway. Spirited always speeding halh and half gives me 387 per tank. Dunno what that equates to in mpg. Dunno the tank capacity. i suppose I could look it up.

When I purchased my car, I drove it from Chicago to California in three days. One stretch on hwy 80, I did one complete tank at 70mph. Never varried the gas peddle. Non stop, from the high elevation in Denver down hill into Nevada. I got 32.6 mpg. Car was bone stock with 68,000 miles on the clock.

Now with the big turbo and 65 lb injectors, I can watch the gas gauge move at full throttle. But then who cares about mpg, when you have 22 psi of boost.

ps, I seem to get mid to high twenties with my current driving style. In the summer when the car is used more for commuting, it gets close to 30.

Just over 30 mpg for very steady highway at 70-80 cruise control. Normal mix around town is 20 mpg or so. Winter mpg is running about 18 around town now.
