I have scale-matched white face guage templates. From a good color copier- simply copy them to a sheet of 100% adhesive-backed paper, cut and apply them directly over tthe existing faces, and reinstall.

$10 a sheet. Reply if interested.

So the white adhesive paper would give me white faced gauges but then use the stock lighting right? I might think about that even though i like these gauges shown above so let me know. And also how long would the paper hold up. And post some pics if you can.

I put the drivers edge gauges in my 83 about for years ago, when they first came out. They were pretty good quality, though you had to trim them alot. i installed them myself, it was a bitch to pry the gauge domes off, i still have scars on my hand from that! But in the end they looked awesome. I've considered them for my 86 many times, but no companies make them with the fuel consumption gauge below the speedometer that reads in L/100km! Extremely rare because its a canadian car...
I talked to a guy in France who came on here a while back, he had some in his car, but they were just prints I had to actually print up myself, low resolution too...

I assume the paper method is for the early dash only right? The 85.5+ gauges are semi back-lit and require the warning lights to illuminate through opening behind the face of the gauge.

Check out the Autohut gauges on my website. They are by far the best and the most FACTORY looking.
