Default Aluminum Sun Visor Clips?

I thought I read somewhere a while back that someone had made some CNC aluminum sun visor clips? Can anyone help me out on this?

I'm only asking because I end up replacing my clips at least once/year because they get hot and "sag" from the Texas heat (car sits out in the sun at work during the day). I'm getting tired of my visors falling down until I can replace them again... I need a more permanent solution.

Suggestions anyone?

TIA

Wow! If anyone makes these I'd want to buy two! Never heard of this though, just of people nagging over the d*** little peices of plastic always breaking.

I just checked mine and they are some type of metal painted black... They appear to be fairly new and have no numbers stamped on them at all. It must have been something the PO did.

we are talking about the piece you pop the sunvisor into and out of when you swing it towards the door and back again... right? I bought new ones, but they were plastic. So are there metal ones out there?

YES, the ones in my car appear to be aluminum. I actually took one off this afternoon to see if there were numbers stamped on it and there are not. I assume it is aluminum only because of how light it is. If my wife gets back tomorrow with my camera, I will take a picture.
