"I even got all my wheels matched so that the crest on the center cap points right at the valve stem, with the "odd" wheel lock on that lug. I know. . . ****, but it looks better rather than everything scattered randomly on the surface of the wheel. It looks cool when rolling slowly too, since the front & back wheel match. "

"^^^^^ how did you get them to stay in one place??? I have matched mine four times in the last week and all it takes is one trip around the block for them to be scattered all over again..."

I even jack my car up once a week and rotate the wheels so that all of them are upright with the valve-stem at the bottom. Then I rotate the centercaps so the badge is right side up...

The U shaped tool for removing the Blaupunkts does not fit. Wouldn't that have been nice.

I find the older metal center caps stay in one place, and the newer plastic tab style caps spin all the time.

Small (expendable) allen key plus pliers removes them easily.

Even if the center caps don't spin in their sockets, isn't it a given that the badges will gradually move out of alignment? When you go around a corner the outer wheels travel marginally farther than the inner ones. When you make a turn, the rear tires do not follow exactly in the tracks of the fronts. I would think a day's normal driving would get them out of sync.

But if lining them up is worth it to you, great. I bet it looks awesome right after you set it up!
