Excellent! Does that mean my SilverRose will soon have a sister living nearby?

I know! I cant wait to get out there and see everyone, and yes, your car will have a sister, and if I may say a fairly decent example, not overly modded or anything, shows her age, but still looks good! I want to see yours, is yours still the cloth interior?

Mine is completely stock as well -- and with the original cloth interior in pretty good shape. We'll have to compare notes once you're over on this coast.

But its not limited to our P-Cars, I get more crap when I drive my RSX-S... At least in that car I KNOW I could teach these kids a lesson or two!
LOL. Whats even better is to give it enough gas to let the car lunge foward, but then hit the brakes before you go more than a few feet. The ricer will think you're on and barge into the intersection where a semi runs him completely over.

Bonestock, maybe you should try rebadging your turbo with the standard badge. I'm sure the word turbo is what is firing up all these wannabes. They wouldnt know the difference if it wasnt for that.

Where is 944fest? Perhaps I'll make a trip down. Taking a road trip is one of my favorite things to do, nothing but me, my car and the road...

After I got my 944, I had people trying to race me right left and center. I got tailed by _everybody_ including city buses, etc. After a while, I just stopped noticing them. I'm sure it still happens, but I just live in my own little world on the road

In that case, here is what you do to invoke death:
Wait untill you have just passed a car on the left or right while someone is riding your (car's) ***. Then lift off gas, slowly, slowly edging closer to that car you passed earlier who is now in the blindspot of the bastard tailgating you. Every once and a while they will make a bold move and break out of the lane where they will crash into the person in the other lane and bite it HARD.

Happy motoring!

You always have the option when someone tries to race you to simply point your finger at their car and laugh. It works every time because they will know you think they are not worth your effort. Its best done when the idiot has friends in their car.

Darwin I would ask you this: do you provoke these people in any way? I have a hard time believing people just cut you off for no reason at all if you're just driving along at a moderate pace. Maybe there are a couple ******** whoe might do this, but really, why don't you just not look at them and ignore them? I would never let someone else prevent me from doing what I like. I would not "point you finger and laugh" that would only provoke them further to do something stupid.
Just go about your business and don't let them get to you.
A great poet, Emmet Fox, once wrote: "You have nothing to deal with but your own thoughts."
Just try not to let them get to you.

Brakes? only as good as thrust. Better brakes haul it down and force control.

Did someone mention 944fest? > Zero10- it's in Ohio, and you NEED to attend.
I think we are going for 60 plus watercoolers. Looking at Winslow's car is worth the trip.
GOD I HOPE PERRY MAKES IT THIS YEAR. We SO missed handing that man a trophy last year.

WE meaning Dan P, true dat, Perry's EARNED his way- whereas I just slide into the fracus- and under the radar- i just drive this bitch daily. It's no biz...

No I don't prevoke, I'm not saying that them cutting me off happens all the time, it's happend twice, but twice it scared the $hit out of me! And I don't like the thought of that one person misjudging something and clipping me and screwing up my front end...but I have yet to learn to ignore them, so for the time being, I'll just drive my other car. I have yet to learn a lot of skill for driving a nice car on the road. But give me time, and I will. Till then, I can still drive her on Saturday morning before everyone is out on the roads!
