Car not starting

My dad needs to move my car around on the driveway, but it isn't starting. It was running fine over winter break. I didn't drive it for maybe 2 or 3 days before I went back to school, and on the morning I left I tried starting it. I could here the fuel pump whine, but that was it. The starter made no noise at all. My dad said he tried putting the trickle charger on it overnight, but that didn't help. The battery is only about 1 1/2 old (May 2003).
Any ideas?

If this is not the battery problem (are the electric lights inside, etc. on?), and you don't hear ANY sound from the starter, than it's probably a problem with the solenoid on the starter, or wiring/ignition switch. I would check if there is voltage on the solenoid: clip a wire and try cranking (don't stay under the car when somebody is cranking it).

Forgot a few facts. The starter is a little over 2 years old, the solenoid is just as old as the battery. The grounds are as old as the battery too, because I upgraded to Dan Wray's grounds at the same time. I'm thinking that the ground connection should still be relatively clean.
Can the really cold weather have anything to do with this? It was running fine, but then I didn't drive it for a few days when it was sub-zero weather.
edit: The ignition switch is new too.
