Default Some random pictures and some questions.

With all the snow we have been getting lately i haven't been able to drive the car. I took some pictures of it in the garage and believe the headers look different then stock. I have not seen many 951 engines so you guys take a look and let me know if they look different. Also took some misc pics of the engine to ask you guys if anything looks out of place. The engine compartment is very dusty but will get cleaned when the weather breaks. Thanks for you help in advance.

As before Antonio, beautiful 951! Those headers look stock but they are pretty shiny looking in that picture, they may have been ceramic coated which is a relatively nice upgrade to keep underhood temperatures down. On the other hand, they may just be really clean for some reason, but they definitely look stock to me. That engine looks like it will be pretty easy to clean up, just a little dusty!

Nice looking engine bay! Those headers are indeed stock. As I understand, some were sold without the area for expansion like yours......those cracked and were replaced under warranty by Porsche with what you have. Not sure on what years had them stock....

They are very shiny, they almost have a brushed aluminum look. Thats why i questioned it being stock. Im starting to really like the wide look of the rear phonedials. The size of the tires are 205/55ZR16 front and 225/50ZR16 rear, is that the stock size?
Can someone also resize the last pic of the odo for a avatar pic?
Thanks for the help, heres a couple more pics.

looks exactly like my first 951. it's a beauty, looks like you got a great deal

those are the stock tire sizes. you can fit 225/50 and 245/45 as well on those rims.

It's beautiful Antonio. I've always loved a black 951. I see you've mastered resizing pics. I can't tell for sure, but the only thing that may be out of place is the washer reservoir cap. It looks like the hoses are not connected. The caps are brittle and commonly break. Nothing major by any means. I think they are around a dollar to replace.

I can't wait to see it in person!

nice car!
check over those fuel lines and the connections and get a fire extinguisher in the car if you haven't already. I know you know that but wanted to tell you again anyway.

Huh? I can't see ANY damn header in there. Am I blind, stupid, or both? Nevertheless, you got yourself one fine car, Antonio. Black on black, too. Yummy. I'm too lazy to search for the car buying thread. What was the final price? Lovely, man.
