Good looking black on black 944!

I personally like the Fuchs on lighter color cars. They kinda get lost on black cars, IMHO.

That's funny!

I know that it is a problem sometimes that non-members post for sale items but maybe next time go a little easy until you know the facts or maybe send a PM first.

Some members choose to dis-associate themselves with a member status under a name just because of petty little crap like this. Very nice work. Nice 944.

It took a good week or so before my red "rennlist member" showed up on my account after I paid. Just food for thought. I had to send a quick email to John to speed it up but it solved the problem!

Nah. Scorched earth policy!

I'm just kidding Pete. You have enough on your hands keeping us monkeys in the zoo.

Hey, no problem.... Had Tom R. not pointed it out, I would never have noticed...figure I've been a member for over a year and never really paid attention.... And honestly, he had a valid point, only members should be posting classifieds anyway, so non-members should 'sneak' an ad here on the forums....

however, a Member can sneak anything

Anyway, I appreciate all the positive comments on the car...now...anybody want to BUY it?

Its more then most would spend on an early ( I know you did not specify but I can see the power antenna bud and the reset windshield) 944 Pre 85.5 changes, but is still a very nice car. There are not usually a lot of buyers on this board unless they are buying a well know car from another member, but non the less you might find some one for a car like that if it is as “UP TO SNUFF” as you say it is.

Are you begging people to buy your car? That's going to get annoying very quickly. Put an add in the classifieds.

Rob,
yeah, I know. I think we gave a bit too much for the trade in....I haven't gotten the "your car is worth $6k, I'll give you $2k for a trade in" speech down yet.

BTW, the car was formally owned by rennlist member who did a lot of work to it before he sold it to the guy we got it from, who then did all the belts, water pump, etc and everything else to it.

It's ok, seems theres a local guy that just bought one for $3500 (seems reasonable) but just found out that it will take about $4000 to get it running right....ouch!. He is trying to get the PO to take it back, and might buy this one.

There is an ad there. Just thought I might bring the discussion away from my membership status and back to the original point of this post. Some people like to browse posts and not necessarily browse classifieds so I thought I would throw it out there. Lets call it a public service announcement.

Now, if it offends you, I am sorry. But based on some emails I have gotten, i would say my assessment of forums vs. classifieds is correct. Besides, nobody is holding a gun to your head saying you have to read the thread.
