Default STUPID SUbject - Those "slimline" Front Porsche License Plates

Okay, I spent a stupid amount of moeny to buy on the these "slim" type black front license plates already once on an impulse because it matched the front bumper guard dimensions of our cars and I liked how it sorta completed the look from the front with the guards.

Some freakin 'Hole apparently pried the Porsche emblem off it with a screwdriver in a parking lot the other day...I coulda "shat"

Anyway, he twisted the **** outta the plate itself. I could try to re-flatten it, but it would look like crap. Performance Products wants $69.99 for one of these things!!! Anyone know a cheaper source? I am considering going to the std. gold edged Porsche front plate with the printed on Cloisonne. They look nice bu tghey hang down lower than the slim line ones which I like better. Any help with a cheaper source?

Got a source for a flat piece of sheet metal and then just put a $30 hood ornament on it?
