Hows about some PB blaster to clear out old grease and then hit with fresh white lithium grease?
See my hatch post.. Damn it's cold.

but Chris, it will still have some resistance at some point and you will constantly need to regrease it depending on how often it is used. Not to mention, rain will seep in and wash the grease down the side of rocker panel on the car. Do it right, do it once!
Nobody answered my question: The people with stiff pax doors, did you have your doors removed at some point in the car's life?

I have personally seen a door hinge break off the pillar. The door had not been taken off the car before that and it didnt look like the hinge had ever been greased before. I respray mine with lithium grease at least every 6 months.

Add another to the passenger door hard to close list. This problem was persisetant on both of the doors on my 924S. Spraying the hinges in white lithium grease made the problem go away temporarily. It needed to be resprayed every 2-3 months.

Heck - I just thought this was some weird German engineering.
Actually - both of my doors seem to be afflected with this terrible disease. I shall try your remedy this weekend.
