Very cool, but how the heck does the one on top not dribble anything onto the one on the bottom? Oh wait. . . I figured it out - you drained the oil out of it you sly guy! Great idea! Just don't forget to add it again before you drive it!

Thanks guys, both of those cars are my Dad's, my car isn't priveleged enough to sleep in a place that holy! His dream car is still a 328 GTS so thats why the Ferrari flag stays until one day such vehicle becomes attainable.

If you look closely at the third picture down youll see 2 of the 3 fluid catch trays that came with the lift and can be slid in different positions under the car. The 951 probably leaks damn near everything so those will be useful.

All the info on the lift can be found here

por944trs - I'll be sending you a PM this afternoon.

Knowing me Id park car #1 under the lift on the bottom then wonder how in the hell you are supposed to get car #2 over car #1. Id send the lift back as defective.

LOL, if you managed to hurt yourself in the above process, it sounds like you'd have the makings of a great all-american product liability suit there. Better get right on it. That 959 may not be out of your financial reach after all.

Nice garage, nice lift, and nice collection of cars you got there Tarheel.

Very sweet. I'm assuming the 951 has no leaks?

awsome garage. One of my neigbors has a lift like that with a higly modded Mustang cobra on the top and a 2005 Turbo S on the bottom. Those things are cool but i think if i ever got a lift i would get one for working on the cars where the wheels dangle but thats just me.

Cool Pics.

That is sweet but I would stay up all night too..... I'm so freaked I'm yelling at my wife every day for parking her BMW too close to the cab. I'm thinking about making her a set of rails like in the car wash to keep from getting dinged in my own garage. One day I'll tell you guys about the two car accident that hapened in my driveway with my last 944... It was a dark tay I'll say that much.

Chris: I say the same to my wife about her car! You might want to check out this cheap solution for the garage I found while browsing online at Performance Products--the link is too long to post, but search under "Hanging Door Ding Protection" It's $15 for piece of mind

(and no, I don't work for Performance--was just browsing!) Enjoy.

I recently set up my third garage stall so that I have the door lift up just off the ceiling, so that when my lift shows up in a couple of weeks, I am good to go.

All y'all in Atlanta, I will be in Atlanta late Thursday night through Saturday. Wanna get together for dinner/drinks?

Regards,
