Hussam: with the snow fall, did traffic come to a halt? I don't suppose the local UAE officials have plow trucks on hand...
By the way, I'm guessing you must be changing your engine oil all the time to fit in with the extreme temps... It's tough for me to get back to Boston and remembering to run 5w30 instead of 20w50 (Hong Kong & Singapore).

By the way, nice photos your friend took! I've always been impressed with the architecture in Dubai..especially the hotels like the Dusit, the Fairmont, etc. Been trying to stoppover and then head out to the Seychelles for some diving!
