Default I really love driving this car.

I really dont miss driving my Audi Turbo Quattro. The 944 just runs circles around it when it comes to driving pleasure. The last 2 days its been icy in the Seattle area (Kenmore) and I drove my Audi and was missing my Porsche. After work I just had to drive it for awhile. Pics will come soon.

I totally agree with you. Audi quattro turbos [urquattros] are really only fun if ya work 'em hard with your left foot matted on the brake and your right foot planted down hard on the gas keeping the turbo spooled up in a race condition. But every quattro I've owned [9 of em] never quite shifts as well when taken to redline and then hard down back on the gas through the gears - just not the same feeling as a Porsche 944 or 911 gives you if doing the same style of driving. The Porsche always wins hands down for overall driving feel, imho.

I couoldn't agree more I love driving my 90 S2, when it was icy here I drove an extra car we have sitting around here and I really missed my 944. I went for a drive today up some of the back roads here(P-car 944) drive up 203 to Novelity hill road that leads into redmond that road is a blast to drive) and I really enjoyed the drive it puts a simle on my face every time

I drive my chinese scooter to school everyday. So when i get in my turbo it feels like the most well machined piece of automotive technology in the world. But it really is. I love my car. :-)

I haven't owned many cars; I can only compare my 944 to my other car (82 mercedes tubodiesel 300TD), and my first car (88 civic stick). The civic sucked ***, but the 300TD has some things the 944 lacks... but in the end the 944 is da bomb. It PWNZ. In plain english, the 944 is the car I would drive if I were in a driving mood.
